‘BWRT®’ stands for ‘BrainWorking Recursive Therapy®’, a model of psychology and psychotherapy created by UK professional therapist, Terence Watts, MCGI. Like many other modern therapies, it allows a ‘core of privacy’ so that you do not have to divulge anything you would rather not talk about – in fact, the practitioner only needs to know how you feel and how you would prefer to feel instead. BWRT® is a completely new and different therapy based on the latest discoveries about the way the brain works and how it affects our moods, behaviour and emotions. Only Certified Practitioners have been trained to deliver BWRT® and all have to adhere to a strict ethical code. Find out more at http://www.bwrt.org or take a look at the questions and video below.

How does it work?

BWRT® is a cutting edge therapy for the twenty-first century. BWRT® stands for BrainWorking Recursive Therapy and it is a 'content-free' process that doesn't rely on a therapist saying the right things or discovering private information or personal secrets.  In fact, all the therapist needs to know is what the client wants to be able to do, or be able to stop doing.

Personal problems, fears, anxieties, or even severe difficulties that have lasted for years can melt away almost as if by magic, and often in just one or two sessions.  The Therapy can even be carried out successfully via the internet, so a lack of confidence, feelings or awkwardness or tight schedules need not be an obstacle to improving your life.

What happens in a session?

In a session, the client is guided to use just their own thoughts - without the therapist even needing to know what those thoughts are - in a special way to create a totally natural change that comes from within the client rather than from something the therapist says or does.  All the work is done in a completely 'awake state' and doesn't use hypnosis or any mysterious spiritual or religious ideas of any sort - it's completely logical, practical and down-to-earth, and all it needs to be successful is for the client to want something in their life to be different.
